Have you ever wondered how it would be to become an operator of the Large Hadron Collider? Or what is all the magic behind it? Well, while it may be technically impossible to get into LHC Controll Center, we would like to give you an unique opportunity to do so in your home!
In a series of educational mini-games we would like to explain the people the basic principles that are ruling the world of particles. What do you see in Cloud Chamber? How LHC works? How the circular collider differs from the linear one? Find out all that in a fun way!
There are three main goals for the weekend:
* setup basic server application that will serve the website with games
* develop working prototype of game about operating the LHC
* develop working prototype of cloud chamber simmulation
Familiarity with any of the following:
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python, Linux, git, particle physics, colliders physics
Graphic/design skill would be also more than welcome :-)
Experience in web development OR knowledge about particle/colliders physics
