- The CERN LHC@home project Test4Theory allows users to participate in running simulations of high-energy particle physics using their home computers.
The results of the simulations are submitted to a database which is used as a common resource by both experimental and theoretical scientists working on the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
The project provides a web page where the volunteers can see the simulations run by their computers, with a nice video tutorial that explains in less than a minute the user interface of the web application. The interesting aspect of the video tutorial is that thanks to modern web technologies the video timing is synchronized with several actions triggered in the right moment that help to understand and focus the user attention.
The goal of this project is adding more videos that will help to explain the simulations, the goals of the Test4Theory project, etc.
Description- Record new videos explaining the Test4Theory project:
- Histograms
- Simulations
- Employed technologies (BOINC, Virtual Machines, etc.)
- Interview the researchers about the project
- Subtitles in every language for internationalization
- It could be use the platform UniversalSubtitles.org
- etc.
