The famous astronomer Carl Sagan once said, "Everybody starts out as a scientist. Every child has the scientist's sense of wonder and awe."

Sustaining this sense of wonder presents teachers, parents, and others close to children with tremendous responsibility—and an extraordinary opportunity. We want to harness this opportunity to inspire children towards STEM and ignited an innate curiosity to explore, investigate, ask questions and seek answers in them.

However, one of the biggest challenges involved in the implementation of STEM education is to design an engaging curriculum and to equip children with the best guidance and support. Another challenge could be accessibility. While there are several players in the market, delivery to the last mile still remains a critical challenge.

To address these issues, we are creating a one-of-its-kind free STEM learning platform - Life Lab STEM GuruKool. STEM Gurukool aims to provide equal access to affordable STEM education and to eliminate gender and wealth disparities across the world. It is an endevour to achieve universal access to quality education which would ultimately lead to the formation of a peaceful society. Global issues require global solutions. Implementing solutions at scale, however, can seem like a nearly insurmountable challenge. 

Our goal is to contribute to UN's Sustainable Development Goals which CERN de facto contributes to, Goal 4 of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, which is to promote quality education, and Goal 16 of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, which is to foster peaceful and inclusive society. This would be a free platform where students from all geographies and age groups can enroll themselves and learn the intricacies of science. The content would be made by brilliants minds from the leading institutes across the globe. Some of these students would also be teaching the enrolled children over weekends.  We also plan to host a series of webinars with teachers and researchers across the country (in regional languages as well).
