Particle Clicker

Particle Clicker is an addictive detector simulator in the style of Cookie Clicker
Description

You are presented with the cross section of a detector.

Click on the detector to collide two particle beams and generate an event.

If it contains potentially interesting physics, it is collected and displayed in a histogram.

Repeatedly click on your detector to collect more data. Once you have enough, you can publish your results and get more funding.

Hire postdocs to click for you!

Upgrade your accelerator and detector to make historic discoveries! (Z discovery, Higgs search, ...)
Learn how a high energy physics experiment is performed and how the data is analysed!

Goals of the project

We plan to write this game entirely from scratch during the Webfest.

It will be a single-page HTML/JavaScript application.

Skills being sought

We are looking for people with any of the following:

  • Interest to test the game and give suggestions on the gameplay
  • Some experience with HTML and Javascript
  • Experience in 2d graphics design
  • Desire to make this project happen!
